Dear Dr. Worton,
Thank you for your fax of 10 March which I
received
this morning (my fax was full and it did not come through before.)
Thank you for your interest.
Then he mentioned you, and though by then I was really not feeling
too sure
about going ahead, I sent you my lab results. I never heard back.
I was not
offended by this but simply assumed that there were more obstacles
in the way.
In the meantime I took stock of my situation.
I had not really had time to
sit back and reflect. I realised that I was so pleased with my
diet success
and my new appearance that I really did not want a facelift any
longer. As you
know I have dropped in weight from 212 lbs to 170 lbs, a loss
of 42 lbs
(actually 12 lbs more than I was asked to by one of the previous
surgeons) and I look really a great deal better. I expect that
you are
right and that the best weight for the operation would be 140-150
lbs,
but that is not really relevant now as I do not wish to proceed
with any
surgery.
I really do look and feel so much better than
I have for years. I am
hoping to lose a bit more weight if possible, but at the very
least I
will ensure that I do not put any of the lost weight back on again.
All
my friends are commenting how great I look, and they, like me,
believe I
no longer need a facelift. I suppose it is something I might
consider
in the future at some stage, but for now I have decided that I
am really
pretty happy with the way I look, and it would seem foolish in
the
extreme to undergo surgery when I feel like that.
I am sorry that your time has been wasted.
Thank you for your interest,
and I wish you a happy and successful time in the new millennium.
With
best wishes, Arabella Churchill.
