Dr. Enid Reed is a diplomated neuropsychologist. clinical psychologist, and
educational psychologist, certified by the American Board of Professional
Neuropsychology. She earned her bachelor' s degree and first doctorate from
U.C.L.A., and her second from U.S.I.U., where she studied under Dr. Rollo
May. Her master's degree was earned at U.S.C., on fellowship. Her
predoctoral internship was completed at the Los Angeles Unified School
District, where she developed new programs as a school psychologist. Her
postdoctoral internship was completed at the V.A. Medical Center, Sepulveda,
under Dr. Matthew Buttiglieri and Dr Milton Greenblatt, as part of the
demonstration community psychiatry project Dr. Greenblatt was introducing
into California, after his retirement in Massachusetts where his work in
emptying the mental hospitals and returning patients to the community had
gained national recognition. Her postgraduate work in neuropsychology was
done informally with nationally recognized leaders in the field.
Her practice has extended over twenty-five years. She holds IME, and federal
medical expert status.She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Neuropsychology and the
American Psychological Society in recognition of her work effecting positive
changes in her profession. She is also a member of the Cognitive
Neurosciences Society, International Neuropsychology Society, American
Psychological Association, Society for the Study of Neuronal Regulation,
Biofeedback Institute for Certification in America, Prescribing
Psychologists Register, and a professional member of the Feldenkrais Guild.Dr. Reed has lectured extensively to professionals on neuropsychological
topics, and has been active in developing innovative approaches to treatment
and rehabilitation. She works with both children and adults, specializing
in diagnostic evaluations to set up appropriate therapeutic, rehabilitative,
and learning enhancement treatment plans. Her work is done in conjunction
with the primary physician team. Forensic neuropsychological and
psychological evaluations are completed as needed for diagnostic purposes.
