Arabella Churchill, Granddaughter of Sir Winston Churchill

When Arabella Churchill, the 49-year-old granddaughter of Sir Winston Churchill, presented herself to Newport Beach plastic surgeon John Shamoun recently for a face lift, he turned her down. Shamoun refused to operate until she loses 40 pounds (at 5'6" she weighs 203 pounds), stops smoking and cuts down on her gin consumption. Says Churchill: "Giving up the alcohol is going to be easier than the diet, and the diet will be much easier than giving up smoking." One plus, according to the doctor's report: "She has a Mona Lisa smile which should not be altered significantly." Surgery is now scheduled for early September.
